From April 2024

Protection from Redundancy (Pregnancy & Family Leave) Act 2023

This is a huge change that requires not only changes to current policy but also how redundancy programmes are addressed to avoid and automatic unfair dismissal claim.

Employment Rights Bill (Flexible Working)

This will change several areas, such as when someone can request this right, how long an employer has to respond, and how many requests an employee can make.

Carer’s Leave Act 2023

This is a new law that will require a policy to be in place before the change.
